About Lake Zurich
Lake Zurich (Zürichsee) is a crescent-shaped glacial lake stretching 28 kilometers southeast of the city of Zurich, with a maximum depth of 136 meters and clear, blue-green water fed by the River Linth. The shores are lined with vineyards, parks and affluent suburbs on the ‘Gold Coast’, while Zurich’s pier promenades offer swimming, sailing and sunset walks with alpine views. Passenger ships regularly operated by ZSG connect the lake towns from Zurich to Rapperswil at the other end.
