Tatjana Tavern in Ljubljana – Dr Jam Travels

I have been planning to visit for a long time tatjana Tavern named after the owner on Gornji trg, at the end of the old town. This seafood restaurant opens at 5 pm and today I stayed longer at work and had plans for after, so it was a great option for me.

I was the first guest, inside was the owner and the waiter discussing everyday things. I chose one of the tables at first. During the summer they have a nice garden in the back.

I had a cold appetizer (mixed octopus salad, salted sardines, tuna carpaccio and bacalar). The main course was sea bass fillet with potatoes and chard. I was drinking mineral water

The starter had a large portion of octopus, good bread and olives. Then a large piece of fish arrived, it still had few bones, the chard was spicy and a little oily and creamy and had a good portion of garlic. With tip I paid €50. On the way out I exchanged a few words with the owner.
